

MP Dimple Yadav countered senior Congress leader P Chidambaram comments on Operation Blue Star, saying it was important to understand the prevailing circumstances at the time, and that the Prime Minister had taken the decision with the country’s security in mind.
Mainpuri: Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav arrived in Mainpuri today and attended a private event in Sunun village in the Karhal assembly constituency. During her media interaction, she addressed several important political issues. She countered senior Congress leader P Chidambaram comments on Operation Blue Star, saying it was important to understand the prevailing circumstances at the time, and that the Prime Minister had taken the decision with the country's security in mind.
Regarding the cancellation of the Afghan Foreign Minister's visit, Dimple described the central government's foreign policy as confused and lacked clarity. She also expressed concern over the plight of women and Dalits in Uttar Pradesh, stating that the situation for women is poor, while the situation for Dalits and backward classes is even more dire.
Regarding the encounter cases, she said they are merely a facade and an attempt to conceal the real problem. Dimple agreed with the accusations of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath being called an infiltrator and questioned who is responsible for the infiltration.
Dimple also commented on the rally of BSP Supremo Mayawati and said that Samajwadi Party will continue to fight for the backward, Dalits, minorities and the poor.
