Watch Video: Thousands of Kanwariyas undertake 40km pilgrimage to Baba Vishwanath Temple

Chandauli: On the last Monday of the holy month of Sawan, thousands of Kanwariyas walked 40 km to visit Baba Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. The journey started from Mughalsarai and went through Alinagar, Sakaldiha, and the Chakia area of Alinagar. Along the way, people chant 'Har Har Mahadev' and listened to devotional music from about 35 DJs.

This event showed a deep spiritual connection and strong faith. The police made special security plans with guidance from city police commissioner Sandeep Patil, deputy commissioners Hanumantharaya and Laxmi Ganesh, and assistant commissioner Srinivas Gowda.

Extra care was taken at Sakaldiha Mor, SP office, Kailashpuri Kali Mata Mandir, Subhash Nagar halt, and the Chakia area of Alinagar.
