New Delhi: The trailer of Cocktail 2 starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna was released on Monday, offering a glimpse into a modern love story packed with friendship, heartbreak and emotional drama.
The film revolves around three characters Kunal, Ally and Diya as they navigate complicated relationships and emotional conflicts. Going by the trailer, the film blends romance, humour and betrayal against a stylish urban backdrop, much like the original 2012 film Cocktail starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty.

Speaking about the film, Shahid Kapoor described Cocktail 2 as a complete summer entertainer filled with “madness, emotion, humour, romance and heart.”
Kriti Sanon said the film feels modern, stylish and emotionally relatable, adding that the characters are “beautifully flawed” and the music elevates the overall experience.
Rashmika Mandanna called the film a “beautiful mix of love and friendship,” saying audiences would connect with the emotional journey of the three central characters.

Producer Dinesh Vijan said the film reflects today’s search for deeper emotional connections and authenticity in relationships.
Writer-producer Luv Ranjan added that the story explores the complexities of modern relationships, friendship and emotional baggage in a contemporary setting.
Director Homi Adajania described the film as “funny, messy, emotional and reckless.” Produced by Maddock Films and Luv Films, Cocktail 2 is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 19.
