Pune: The Ketan Agarwal murder case has taken another twist after a series of viral posts on X made sensational claims about the personal lives of the accused, Siya Goyal and Chetan Choudhary.

However, none of the allegations circulating on social media have been confirmed by the police or investigating agencies.

What Are the Viral Claims?

Several posts on X alleged that Chetan Choudhary was involved with multiple women while allegedly being in a relationship with Siya Goyal. Some users claimed investigators had uncovered chats suggesting he was communicating with other women and allegedly planning to meet one of them after the incident.

Other posts alleged that Chetan used money provided by Siya to purchase gifts for another woman. Some social media users even claimed Siya regretted choosing Chetan over Ketan Agarwal.

None of these claims have been substantiated by official investigators.

Internet Divided Over Viral Narrative

The posts triggered widespread reactions online, with many users comparing the case to a crime thriller. Some described the developments as "Netflix-level drama," while others questioned the authenticity of the viral claims.

Several users cautioned against believing unverified information, arguing that social media speculation could interfere with the ongoing investigation. Others alleged that attempts were being made to shift the narrative in favour of one accused over the other.

Investigation Continues

Police have not commented on the viral claims. Investigators continue to examine digital evidence recovered from the accused, including deleted data from mobile phones, as part of the murder probe.

Siya Goyal and Chetan Choudhary remain in judicial custody in connection with the alleged murder of businessman Ketan Agarwal, who was allegedly pushed into a gorge at Lohagad Fort near Pune on June 18.
