Sonipat: A peaceful neighbourhood in Haryana’s Sonipat turned into a scene of panic after a pitbull suddenly attacked a six-month-old baby during a routine walk. The shocking incident, captured on CCTV, shows locals rushing to save the infant as the dog refused to release the child.
The attack took place in Sikka Colony of Sonipat when the baby was being carried by her aunt. According to reports, the pitbull suddenly charged towards them and attacked the infant. The sudden impact caused the woman and the baby to fall on the road, after which the dog grabbed the child.
The disturbing CCTV visuals show the intense rescue attempt as several people gathered at the spot and tried to separate the dog from the baby. After a difficult struggle, locals managed to save the infant and move her away from the animal.
The six-month-old baby suffered serious injuries in the attack and was immediately taken for medical care. Due to the critical nature of the injuries, the child was referred to a hospital in Rohtak, where treatment is currently underway.
