German luxury automobile manufacturing brand Audi has introduced its all-new Q9. This is the largest and most premium SUV from the brand to date. The SUV is positioned above the Q7 and Q8. The new three-row full-size SUV introduces curved digital OLED rear lights, automatic power doors, and Audi’s largest panoramic sunroof ever.
In terms of measurement, the SUV is 5.31 meters in length with a 3.14-meter wheelbase. The SUV has been engineered to offer maximum interior space while reinforcing the brand’s premium positioning. The SUV comes with seven seats as standard, whereas buyers can also choose for a six seat configuration featuring individual, electrically adjustable captain seats in the second row for a premium business class experience.
Audi Q9 Interior and cabin
The company has added several luxury features to the cabin. The front seats feature heated, ventilated, and massage seats, whereas all the remaining seats are electrically adjustable. The company has also introduced power-operated doors with obstacle detection and soft-close functionality.
One of the key attractions of the SUV is its panoramic sunroof spanning more than 1.5 square metres, which makes its the largest ever lifted to an Audi.
The interior features an 11.9-inch digital instrumental cluster, a 14.5-inch curved touchscreen, and a standard 12.3-inch passenger display with dynamic privacy mode. It also has a 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen 40 sound system.
The newly launched SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine generating 299 PS and 630Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with the company’s latest MHEV Plus mild-hybrid technology.
The luxury SUV will be manufactured in Bratislava and will enter the UK market later this year. Bookings for the Audi Q9 are scheduled to start at the end of August 2026, while the prices are likely to be announced closer to launch.
