5 things to know about the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6
New Delhi: Royal Enfield has officially entered the electric two-wheeler segment with the Flying Flea C6, its first ever EV motorcycle. Designed for urban riders, it combines a lightweight frame, modern electric performance and a retro inspired design. Positioned as a city friendly commuter, the C6 brings together practicality, style and new age of technology in one package.
The Flying Flea C6 is priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).
If you choose the Battery as a Service (BaaS) option, the price drops to ₹1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it more affordable upfront.
Right now, the bike will be available only in Bengaluru, with Royal Enfield planning a slow, phased rollout to other major cities later.
The motorcycle comes with a 3.91kWh lithium-ion battery pack and offers a claimed range of 154 km (IDC cycle) on a full charge.
Charging times are also fairly quick:
0–100% charge: about 2 hours 16 minutes
20–80% charge: around 1 hour 5 minutes
Users can even control charging speed through a mobile app, giving more flexibility depending on their needs.
The Flying Flea C6 is not just about efficiency, it also offers decent performance for a city EV.
Top speed: 115 km/h
0–60 km/h: 3.7 seconds
It uses a 15.4kW permanent magnet motor that produces 60Nm torque, sending power to the rear wheel through a belt drive for smoother performance.
Royal Enfield has focused heavily on keeping the bike light and easy to handle.
Weight: 124 kg (making it the lightest Royal Enfield ever)
Seat height: 823 mm
Ground clearance: 207 mm
Thanks to its slim design, most riders should find it easy to manage at stops and in traffic. The light weight also helps improve range and efficiency.
The Flying Flea C6 comes packed with modern features:
. 3.5-inch circular TFT display
. New age switchgear controls
. 5 riding modes: City, Rain, Highway, Sport and Custom
. Adjustable regenerative braking
. Lean-sensitive traction control
. Dual-channel ABS (rear ABS can be switched off)
It also stands out with a girder-style front fork, giving it a unique retro-modern look, while the rear uses a monoshock suspension setup.
With the Flying Flea C6, Royal Enfield is clearly aiming to blend its classic design language with electric mobility. Lightweight construction, decent range and modern tech make it an interesting new option in the growing EV motorcycle market.
