Following GST rate cuts, Tata Motors is set to launch three SUVs priced under 10 lakh rupees

Tata Motors plans to launch three new SUVs under ₹10 lakh by 2027, including the Punch facelift, Nexon second generation, and off-road-focused Scarlett, enhancing features and segment presence.

New Delhi: Tata Motors is planning to launch three new SUVs in the market soon for less than Rs 10 lakh. The aim of the company is to further strengthen its hold in the 4-meter segment. Two of these three models will be launched in the coming three years.

First of all, the facelift version of Tata Punch will come to the market in November 2025 this year. After this, the new model of Tata Nexon will be launched in 2027, and a new off-road SUV named Tata Scarlett will be launched in the coming few years.

Tata Nexon: Second generation in 2027

Tata Nexon is one of the most popular compact SUVs in India. The company can launch its second generation, codenamed 'Garuda,' in 2027. The new Nexon will get 1.2-liter petrol and petrol-CNG engine options, but the 1.5-liter diesel engine will not be available.

The new Nexon will have many premium features, such as a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driving Assist System), and a power driver seat. These features will make Nexon more competitive in its segment.

Tata Scarlett: Powerful new off-road SUV

Tata Motors can also bring its new off-road SUV, Scarlett, to the market. This SUV will come with a muscular and rough design, which will be specially designed for off-roading. Scarlett will compete with popular off-road vehicles like the Mahindra Thar and Maruti Suzuki Jimny.

The company is focusing on making it powerful not only in looks but also in performance. This SUV can prove to be a new option for off-road lovers.

Tata Punch Facelift: Launch in November with new features

Tata Punch Facelift is going to be launched in November this year. Many new advanced features will be given in this new model. The biggest feature will be its 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will be better than the current 7-inch system. Along with this, a large digital panel will be available for the driver instead of a 4-inch display.

Engine options will include 1.2-liter petrol and petrol-CNG engines. The special thing is that the CNG version can now also be available with a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT), while at present it is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
