New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its new SUV in India on 3 September 2025. This new SUV can be named Escudo or Victorious. The company will sell it through its Arena dealership network, which is more extensive than Grand Vitara. Currently Grand Vitara is available only through Nexa outlets.

New SUV will reach more customers

The Arena network is more spread than Nexa across the country. Therefore, the sale of this SUV is expected to reach more people. This will help Maruti Suzuki to increase its sales.

Design and Exterior

The design of Escudo, or Victorious, is kept completely different from Grand Vitara. It has a new design at the front and rear. The styling of the SUV will be inspired by the Electric Vitara (E-Vitara). It will have modern exterior elements like new LED lights, a grille, and stylish alloy wheels.

  • 1.5-liter strong hybrid engine

Both manual and automatic transmission options will be available with these engines. The special thing is that the mild hybrid variant will also have the option of AWD (all-wheel drive).
