Tata Punch 2026 Launch: Affordable SUV With Advanced Safety and Tech

New Delhi: Tata Motors has finally launched the 2026 Tata Punch facelift in India. It's one of India's best-selling small SUVs. This time, Tata hasn't just changed its look, but has also made significant changes to the car's design, engine, and features. The new Tata Punch has a starting price of ₹5.59 lakh.

1. Automatic (AMT) Gearbox with CNG

The 2026 Tata Punch is India's first SUV to feature an automatic gearbox with CNG. This technology was previously available in the Tata Tiago and Tigor. Now, the Punch can run on CNG without pressing the clutch. It has a 1.2-liter engine and is available in Pure+, Adventure, and Accomplished+S variants.

2. All-New Design

The new Tata Punch has a more modern and powerful look. The front end features a slimmer grille, new LED headlights, and a new bumper. New 16-inch alloy wheels and integrated LED rear lights add to the car's stylish look. The company has introduced it in four new colors.

3. New Turbo Petrol Engine

The Punch will now also be offered with a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine. It produces 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. This engine will be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox in the Adventure model. This engine is for customers who want more power and a sporty drive.

4. All-New Look Inside

The dashboard inside the car now has a modern look similar to the Tata Punch EV. This includes a new steering wheel, digital screen, and touch AC control panel. Rear passengers now also have AC vents and an armrest.

5. Numerous New Features

The new Punch will feature a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also includes a sunroof, wireless charger, a 360-degree camera, auto wipers, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
