TVS Motor Company will launch 4 new motorcycles
New Delhi: TVS Motor Company is preparing to introduce four new Norton motorcycles in the UK, India and some European markets by the end of the financial year 2025-26. A report released by the company states that a flagship 1200cc four-cylinder superbike will be introduced first. After its arrival, the company will launch the rest of its motorcycles in the UK and European markets including India.
TVS plans to relaunch Norton globally
TVS Motor Company is planning to relaunch Norton globally. The first bike of this global launch will be the 1200cc flagship superbike. The company says these upcoming products will help diversify its portfolio and boost profit margins, which is in line with previous reports that six new models are in the pipeline by next year. Currently, Norton sells three motorcycles, which are Commando 961, V4SV and V4CR. All of these are manufactured at the company's Solihull plant in the UK. However, now TVS has bought this company in 2020 for around Rs 150 crore, then its upcoming models can be manufactured at Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu.
Teaser of Norton's first bike
Recently Norton has released a teaser of the taillight of its upcoming 1200cc bike, which shows that Norton will introduce its first bike on November 4, 2025, which is also the first day of EICMA. This could also be a launch event. Soon after the release of this teaser, the flagship 1200cc bike was seen during testing, which was being driven by TVS MD Sudarshan Venu.
