Patna: Following the first phase of voting in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor (PK) stated that the people of Bihar have clearly shown a strong desire for change this time.
PK said that the record voter turnout and over two crore votes cast indicate that the public is no longer satisfied with the old political options. He claimed that approximately 60% of the people of Bihar want change and are now viewing Jan Suraaj as a strong political alternative.
PK explained that migrant workers have become an "X factor" in this election. The migrant workers who stayed in Bihar after the Chhath festival not only voted themselves but also encouraged their families and communities to vote.
