Patna: The Mahagathbandhan's joint press conference regarding the Bihar elections has begun.

Key leaders from the Congress, RJD, Left parties, VIP, and IIP are gathered at a major hotel in Patna. The Mahagathbandhan has clearly stated that the entire alliance is united and ready to bring about change in Bihar.

They are going to form the government with a massive majority. VIP chief Mukesh Sahni said, "We have been waiting for this moment for the last three and a half years. We vowed not to let up until we defeat the BJP.

Today, that time has come. After the elections, the people of Bihar will oust the BJP. The Grand Alliance government is going to be formed."

Senior CPI (ML) leader Dipankar Bhattacharya said, "We were unable to form the government in the 2020 assembly elections due to a few seats. Today, that time has come again. The Nitish government has treated students unfairly."

They were lathi-charged. Women were deceived by giving them Rs 10,000 in the name of employment schemes. People across the country are worried about whether the Maharashtra election scenario will be repeated in Bihar.

However, we assure everyone that Bihar is fully prepared. The seven parties of the Grand Alliance will work together to fulfill their agenda of change.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the All India Alliance gave a tough fight to the NDA in the Lok Sabha elections.

In the last election, the Mahagathbandhan lost by a small margin of votes. The NDA wants to manipulate constitutional institutions and play games. These people are ready to do anything to win elections.

In this election, we choose Tejashwi Yadav as the next Chief Minister. He is young and does what he says. He has lived up to all the promises he has made so far. Therefore, the Grand Alliance has decided that Tejashwi Yadav will be our Chief Ministerial face.

Ashok Gehlot also said that Mukesh Sahni's party is one of the major parties in the Grand Alliance. Considering his image, the Mahagathbandhan declared him the face of the Deputy CM.

Meanwhile, before the press conference began, all senior leaders of the Mahagathbandhan, including Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, VIP chief Mukesh Sahni, and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, arrived at the hotel.

Tejashwi Yadav first went to Ashok Gehlot's room. A closed-door discussion took place. After this, both leaders arrived at the press conference with the key leaders of the Mahagathbandhan's constituent parties.

Controversy over Tejashwi Yadav's photo
Before the Mahagathbandhan's press conference began, a controversy erupted over a photo that featured only the Leader of the Opposition. This poster heated up the political scene.

BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari pointed out that the photo of Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, was missing from the posters displayed at the venue of the Mahagathbandhan's press conference.

Congress leader Udit Raj retorted, saying that Rahul Gandhi was the primary campaigner for the RJD and other parties in Bihar. We should not draw conclusions based on these posters.

Pradeep Bhandari will get an answer when the time is right. When Amar Ujala asked senior CPI (ML) leader Dipankar Bhattacharya about this matter, he said that there is only one Chief Minister.

Gehlot said, "We will campaign together."
On Wednesday, former Rajasthan Chief Minister and Congress National Observer Ashok Gehlot met with RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav. During the meeting, several issues were discussed, including the seat dispute and election campaign. After leaving Rabri's residence, Ashok Gehlot said, "We had a good conversation with Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav. A press conference is scheduled tomorrow, where everything will become clear. The Grand Alliance is contesting the elections unitedly. There are a total of 243 seats in Bihar, and a "friendly fight" can be held on 5-10 seats by mutual agreement. We will campaign together and win the elections."

Allavaru said, "All details will be provided today."
After meeting with RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and leader Tejashwi Yadav, AICC in-charge for Bihar, Krishna Allavaru, said that they discussed their future strategies for the Bihar elections and how they can work for the people of the state after forming the government. Regarding the possibility of friendly fights in some seats, he said that all details will be provided tomorrow, October 23rd. The NDA should answer what they have done in the last five years. The issue in the election is what have you done? We will explain what we will do in the next five years.

The Grand Alliance has fielded 254 candidates for 243 seats.
RJD has fielded candidates for 143, Congress for 60, CPI(ML) for 20, VIP for 15, CPI for nine, CPM for four, and IIP for three. This totals 254 seats. There are 12 seats where a friendly fight has emerged. However, nominations have been withdrawn from some seats. For example, Congress candidate Aditya Raja, who was contesting against RJD candidate Shivani Shukla in Lalganj, withdrew his nomination. Similarly, in Gaurabauram, after the VIP candidate's nomination, RJD fielded its own candidate. In two other seats, Sugauli and Mohania, the nomination of the Grand Alliance candidate was rejected.

Other parties in the Grand Alliance are facing Congress in 10 seats.
Out of 60, 10 seats (Warsiliganj, Narkatiaganj, Kahalgaon, Sultanganj, Vaisha)
