Patna: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the official notification for its 71st Combined Competitive Examination 2025, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Under the recruitment process, a total of 1250 vacancies will be recruited in various departments of Bihar Government. The application process for interested and eligible candidates will start from 2 June and the last date for submission of applications has been fixed as 30 June.

This prestigious examination of BPSC is likely to be held on 30 August in various districts of Bihar. Examination will be conducted in three phases, which include preliminary examination, main examination and interview. The final selection of successful candidates will be done on the basis of merit list.

Essential Qualification

Candidates applying for BPSC 71st exam should have a graduation degree from a recognized university. The age of the candidate should be between 20 to 40 years.

However, candidates from reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes and other special categories will be given relaxation in age limit as per government rules.

Selection Process

BPSC 71st Combined Competitive Examination will be conducted in three stages. First there will be a preliminary exam, which will be objective type.

Candidates who will pass this exam will be eligible for the main exam. The main exam will consist of a written exam. In this exam knowledge and writing skills of the candidates will be assessed.

The final stage will be an interview, on the basis of which the final merit list will be prepared. On the basis of this merit list, candidates will be selected for various posts.
