Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant set to join JD(U) on Holi? Marks political debut

Patna: The entry of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, into active politics is almost final. He is set to join JD(U) soon.

Senior JD(U) leader and State Minister Sharwan Kumar said on Tuesday that the formal announcement is expected shortly.

While speaking to reporters, Sharwan Kumar said the decision was taken after years of persistent demands from Party functionaries and supporters urging him to step into active politics.

“It is now clear and finalised that Nishant Kumar will join active politics. The party will make a formal announcement in a day or two. Workers have been demanding his entry for several years, and there is enthusiasm within the party ahead of Holi,” said Sharwan Kumar
