Chandigarh: The Punjab government has ordered a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 8 IAS and 86 PCS officers across various districts and departments.

The large-scale move is aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and ensuring fresh appointments in crucial positions across the state.

The reshuffle impacts key administrative posts including Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADC), Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDM), Regional Transport Officers (RTO), Joint Commissioners, and senior officials in municipal corporations and development authorities.

IAS Officers Transferred

The following IAS officers have been reassigned:

  • Rajdeep Singh Brar - ADC (Urban), Bathinda and ACA, Bathinda Development Authority
  • Rubinderjit Brar - Additional Secretary, Local Bodies (to continue holding previous charge)
  • Divya P - ADC (Rural), Jalandhar
  • Vivek Kumar Modi - ADC, Barnala
  • Krishna Pal Rajput - ADC (Rural Development), Ferozepur
  • Davi Goel - ADC, Muktsar
  • Kritika Goel - SDM, Mahal Kalan
  • Rakesh Kumar Meena - Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda

PCS Officers Transferred

A total of 86 PCS officers have also been shifted. Key appointments include:

  • Rupinder Pal Singh - ADC (Urban), Amritsar
  • Amit Bambi - ADC (Urban), Ludhiana

  • Paramjit Singh - Additional Chief Administrator, Patiala Development Authority
  • Amandeep Kaur - ADC, Ferozepur
  • Nidhi Kumud Bamba - ADC, Hoshiarpur
  • Harjot Kaur - Controller, Printing and Publications, Punjab
  • Manjit Singh Cheema - Deputy Commissioner, Jagraon
  • Poonam Singh - ADC, Ludhiana
  • Kala Ram Kansal - SDM, Pattran
  • Arvind Kumar - SDM, Khamano
  • Jai Inder Singh - Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar
