Major IAS transfers in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: The Government of Tamil Nadu has issued a series of significant transfers and postings involving senior IAS officers, enhancing leadership across key departments and public sector undertakings.

Key Transfers and Postings

Dr. Darez Ahamed, IAS, previously Managing Director and CEO of GUIDANCE, has been appointed Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, succeeding Dr. P Senthilkumar, IAS.

Tmt. Anu George, IAS, formerly Secretary-III to the Chief Minister, is now Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Department, replacing Dr. N. Subbaiyan, IAS.

Tmt. Mariam Pallavi Baldev, IAS, previously Special Secretary to Government, Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Department, has been transferred as Secretary to Government, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, taking over from Tmt. S. Madumathi, IAS.

Key Placements in Public Sector Undertakings

Thiru T Udhayachandran, IAS, formerly Additional Chief Secretary to the Finance Department, has been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited as Additional Chief Secretary / Chairman and Managing Director, succeeding Thiru Kumar Jayant, IAS.

Thiru Kumar Jayant, IAS, outgoing from Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited, has been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited for the role of Additional Chief Secretary / Chairman and Managing Director.

The terms and conditions of these deputations will be governed as per G.O.Ms.No.167, Public (Special-A) Department, dated 21 February 1994.
