UP Police Transfers: 16 IPS Officers Shifted
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has ordered a major reshuffle of the police department, transferring Superintendents of Police in nine key districts including Azamgarh, Kushinagar, Deoria, Aligarh, Hardoi, Pratapgarh, Ambedkarnagar, Unnao, and Auraiya.
A total of 16 IPS officers have been shifted, with new postings ranging from district responsibilities to headquarters. Officials said the move aims to strengthen law and order across the state.
