Uttar Pradesh sees major police promotions; 20 PPS promoted to IPS Officers

Lucknow: The PPS rank has been awarded to 20 IPS officers by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The list was released earlier, confirming the promotion of these officers.

Promotion is determined by the service record and recommendation. This promotion is important for the UP Polices administrative structure in addition to being a turning point in the officers careers. Based on their service histories and the Union Home Ministrys recommendation all of these officers have been promoted.

These officers will be placed in new positions with more responsibility. The state government will quickly determine their precise assignments following the ministrys notification. The cadre in Uttar Pradesh will benefit from these promotions by gaining more seasoned IPS officers who are better able to support police administration crime prevention and law and order.

Anil Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Brijesh Kumar Gautam, Anand Kumar, Mamta Rani Chaudhary, Ashok Kumar, Shailendra Kumar Singh, Anil Kumar Jha, Atul Kumar Srivastava, Om Prakash Singh, Azizul, Narendra Pratap Singh, Dr. Praveen Ranjan Singh, Vinay Kumar Singh, Sanjeev Kumar Bajpai, Niharika Sharma, and Trigun Sarvesh Kumar.
