New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices in the country are updated every day in the morning. These rates, issued by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), are determined based on the price of crude oil in the international market and the dollar-rupee exchange rate. On April 12, 2026, there was a slight difference in petrol and diesel prices in major cities of Uttar Pradesh. In Lucknow, petrol is selling at ₹94.70 and diesel at ₹87.83 per liter. In Varanasi, petrol is selling at ₹95.02 and diesel at ₹88.20, while in Prayagraj, petrol is selling at ₹95.71 and diesel at ₹88.99.
