The video, reportedly shared from a Facebook page called “The Daily Inqilab,” shows an unidentified man using abusive language and issuing direct threats against the Chief Minister in Hindi.

Possible Bangladesh Connection Under Investigation

The controversy has deepened after reports claimed that the Facebook page displaying the video features the national flag of Bangladesh, leading to speculation that the video may have originated from across the border. However, officials have not yet confirmed the authenticity or exact source of the clip. Police and intelligence agencies are currently investigating the matter.

Threats Raise Alarm After PA’s Killing

In the viral video, the accused allegedly threatens to “bury the Chief Minister at the border” and physically assault him. The incident has triggered serious concern, especially because it comes shortly after the murder of the Chief Minister’s Personal Assistant, Chandranath Rath, in Madhyamgram of North 24 Parganas district.

Following Rath’s death, security around the Chief Minister has been significantly tightened. Although Suvendu Adhikari already receives ‘Z’ category security cover from the Central Government, additional deployment of state police and central forces has now been arranged to strengthen protection.
