Bengaluru: A shocking double murder case in Bengaluru has taken a dramatic turn after police allegedly uncovered a conspiracy behind the deaths of a 34-year-old man and his four-year-old son. The incident, reported from Chikkabanavara area of north Bengaluru, has raised serious questions after investigators claimed that the man’s wife and her alleged lover were involved in the crime.

According to police, the victims were identified as Abhinandan and his four-year-old son Yaduveer, who lived with Abhinandan’s wife Harini at their residence on 9th Cross in Gutte Basaveshwar Nagar.

Police Suspect Wife-Lover Conspiracy

The case initially appeared to be a suspicious death, but the investigation reportedly revealed a possible murder conspiracy. Police allege that Harini, with the help of her alleged lover Vinay, killed her husband.

Investigators suspect that a dispute broke out between the couple over sleeping arrangements before the incident. During the argument, Harini allegedly attacked Abhinandan with a kitchen ladle, following which the situation escalated.

Police claim that Vinay was later called to the house, where the duo allegedly attacked Abhinandan and suffocated him.

Four-Year-Old Son Also Dies

Police said the couple’s four-year-old son Yaduveer reportedly woke up during the incident. Investigators allege that the child was also suffocated with a pillow.

The deaths of the father and son shocked neighbours, who had no indication of the tragedy unfolding inside the house.

CCTV Cameras Allegedly Switched Off

During the investigation, police reportedly found suspicious circumstances, including allegations that CCTV cameras were switched off when Vinay allegedly visited the house.

Officials also suspect that attempts were made to clean blood stains from the crime scene to avoid detection.

Lover On The Run

Following questioning, Harini was taken into custody by police. However, Vinay remains absconding and police teams are searching for him in and around the Herohalli-Kanakapura area.

Investigators are continuing efforts to trace him and verify the sequence of events leading to the deaths. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination before being handed over to the family for the last rites.
