Srinagar: In a decisive action against terror infiltration within government institutions, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered the termination of two Jammu and Kashmir government employees over alleged links with terrioist outfits.
Official sources said the dismissed individuals have been identified as Farhat Ali Khanday, a Class IV employee in the Education Department, and Mohammad Shafi Dar, a Class IV staffer in the Rural Development Department.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Khanday was allegedly working for Hizbul Mujahideen, while Dar is accused of acting as a terror associate of Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Authorities stated that the action was taken following credible intelligence inputs pointing to their involvement in activities prejudicial to the security of the Union Territory.

The move underscores the administration’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and signals a continued crackdown on individuals found aiding or abetting militant networks from within the system.
