FIR Registered In Prayagraj

An FIR was lodged on February 21 in Prayagraj against the seer and his disciple Mukundanand Brahmachari. The complaint accuses them of sexually abusing two individuals, including a minor, over the past year.

According to the complaint, the alleged incidents took place at a gurukul and during religious gatherings, including events held during the recently concluded Magh Mela.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the allegations.

Claims Of Evidence Leak

During the press interaction, Saraswati displayed a purported screenshot of a WhatsApp group on his phone, claiming that information related to the investigation was being shared within the group.

He alleged that a person named Ashutosh Pandey had created the group and was receiving updates regarding the investigation. The seer questioned how details of the probe were reaching individuals not officially connected with the inquiry.

He also claimed that messages in the group suggested that Pandey had assisted investigators in collecting evidence and had accompanied members of the probe team for several days.

Concerns Raised By Religious Community

Saraswati said that many religious leaders across the country were concerned about the situation. According to him, the allegations had created apprehension among saints and religious figures.

He further claimed that the two complainants named in the FIR had been living with Pandey for a long time and reiterated that he had no interaction with them. The seer maintained that the accusations against him were fabricated and insisted that the truth would eventually emerge.

The case has drawn attention due to the serious nature of the allegations and the counter-claims made by both sides. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the facts surrounding the matter.
