Sahibabad: A Haryanvi actress has lodged an FIR against Haryanvi film producer and actor Uttam Kumar in Shalimar Garden police station area accusing him of rape and sexual harassment on the pretext of marriage and promotion.

She says that Uttar Kumar is an artist and film producer in the film industry of Haryana. She met Uttar Kumar in August 2020 in connection with work.

It is alleged that she did not go to another production house and Uttar Kumar also neither gave her a lead role in films nor fulfilled his promise of marriage.
It is alleged that when the victim confronted the accused with her sister, he threatened her of defamation and made her personal photos and videos viral on social media.
The accused refused to marry her and used casteist slurs and threatened her. After this the victim complained to the police. ACP Shalimar Garden Atul Kumar Singh says that on the complaint of the victim, a report has been filed against Uttar Kumar and investigation is being done.
