The investigation revealed that Sonam allegedly had an affair with Raj Kushwaha. It is alleged that the two conspired together to murder Raja. According to the police, three shooters—Akash Singh Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, and Anand Kurmi—were enlisted to execute this conspiracy.
It was reported that the murder was committed in Sonam's presence, making the case even more sensational.
A total of eight people were arrested in connection with this case, including Sonam. Of these, three accused individuals have already been granted bail. Sonam was arrested in Ghazipur on June 9, 2025.
For all these reasons, this case remained in the headlines for a prolonged period and has once again become a topic of discussion following the granting of bail.
