Mumbai: The October 18 firing incident near actor Tiger Shroff’s residence in Mumbai has brought Anil Pandit, an alleged overseas operative linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, back into the spotlight. An audio recording that surfaced after the incident reportedly warned Bollywood celebrities against working with Salman Khan, ending with the words, “Sabka number aayega” (Everyone will have their turn).

Who Is Anil Pandit? Alleged Overseas Gang Links

Pandit has been named in social media claims and reports concerning suspected criminal networks operating between India and overseas handlers. Investigators have reportedly examined allegations involving weapons supplies, extortion and the coordination of local shooters. However, his exact position in the alleged gang network and current whereabouts remain unconfirmed.

An online account reportedly using the name “Anil Pandit Anmol Bishnoi” claimed responsibility for the Mumbai incident before being deleted. The authenticity of the claim and the audio recording remains under investigation.

Panipat Firing: Seven Rounds Outside Forex Office

On March 14, motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly fired seven rounds at Haast Forex on Assandh Road in Panipat, Haryana. A subsequent social media message attributed to Pandit and Randeep Malik claimed responsibility and threatened further attacks.

The message also targeted rapper Badshah with threats. Police arrested four suspects in connection with the Panipat shooting, while investigators reportedly examined possible payments from overseas handlers.

Delhi-NCR Extortion Case and Mumbai Shooting

On July 12, Delhi Police announced the arrest of three suspected members of an alleged Bishnoi-linked network accused of planning extortion and targeted killings. Police reported recovering three pistols and 26 live cartridges.

The October 18 shooting near Tiger Shroff’s Juhu residence has renewed questions about alleged overseas gang connections. The actor escaped without gunshot injuries, while his driver was reportedly injured.

Investigators are examining the available evidence. No conclusive public finding has established Pandit’s direct involvement in the Mumbai shooting.
