Salman Khan Connection Behind Tiger Shroff Firing? Police Probe Points to Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Mumbai: A fresh twist in the firing case linked to Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has brought the alleged connection between celebrity rivalries, organised crime and threats to the film industry back into focus. Investigators are probing a possible link to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, with the Mumbai Crime Branch making another arrest and reportedly recovering illegal firearms and ammunition during the investigation. The case has drawn particular attention over an alleged motive involving Shroff’s past praise for Salman Khan. According to details attributed to the police investigation, the shooters allegedly told investigators that Shroff’s comments about Khan were connected to the reason he was targeted. The claim has not been independently verified, and the allegations remain subject to the ongoing investigation and judicial process. In this episode of Dynamite Alert, we examine the latest developments in the Tiger Shroff firing case, the reported gang links, the newest arrest and the questions surrounding the alleged motive. Could the case point to a wider pattern of intimidation targeting people associated with prominent Bollywood stars, or will investigators establish a more specific explanation for the attack?

Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Mumbai Crime Branch Makes 11th Arrest

The Mumbai Crime Branch has reportedly made its 11th arrest in the firing case, taking into custody Pranjal, a resident of Harsana village in Haryana’s Sonipat district. He was arrested in Indore, according to the details provided about the investigation. Investigators allege that Pranjal played a significant role in supplying firearms and live ammunition to the alleged shooters. Information emerging from the probe also indicates that three illegal firearms and 10 cartridges were recovered in Surat, Gujarat, following leads linked to the accused. The reported recovery has added another dimension to the investigation, which is examining the alleged supply chain behind the attack. Establishing how weapons were sourced, transported and delivered to the suspected perpetrators is likely to be a key part of the police inquiry into the planning and execution of the incident. The latest arrest follows earlier detentions in the case, although the precise roles of all the accused and the full sequence of events remain matters for investigators to establish.

Why Was Tiger Shroff Allegedly Targeted? Salman Khan Link Under Scrutiny

One of the most striking aspects of the case is the alleged motive emerging from the investigation. According to the account attributed to police questioning, the shooters reportedly linked the decision to target Shroff to his earlier praise for Salman Khan. The claim has brought renewed scrutiny to the relationship between celebrity statements, gang rivalries and threats directed at prominent figures in the entertainment industry. The reported reference dates back to 2022, when Shroff’s film Heropanti 2 was released around Eid. During a promotional event, the actor was asked about releasing his film during the festive period, a slot closely associated with Salman Khan’s major Bollywood releases. Shroff reportedly described Khan as the industry’s real tiger while comparing himself to a cat or a tiger cub, Simba. The remark was made in a light-hearted promotional context, but the current investigation has reportedly revisited it in connection with the alleged motive behind the firing incident. However, a link between the 2022 comment and the attack has not been independently established. The reported account of the shooters’ statements remains an investigative claim and should not be treated as conclusive proof of the motive.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang and the Salman Khan Threats

The alleged gang connection has intensified attention on the security concerns surrounding Salman Khan, who has faced threats attributed to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The hostility has been widely associated with the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, with members linked to the gang reportedly demanding an apology from the actor. The issue has repeatedly raised concerns about the safety of high-profile Bollywood personalities and the potential use of threats to exert pressure on public figures. Reports have also referred to alleged audio messages involving threats against people associated with Khan and his professional circle. The authenticity, context and precise implications of such material must be assessed independently rather than assumed. If investigators establish that the Tiger Shroff attack was connected to his association with Khan, it could widen the scope of the inquiry into whether the alleged perpetrators were pursuing a specific target or attempting to intimidate a broader circle of film-industry personalities. At this stage, however, the available claims do not establish that other actors are facing a confirmed threat arising from this case.

Is Bollywood Facing a Wider Pattern of Intimidation?

The firing case has raised a larger question about the intersection of organised crime, celebrity culture and the security of the entertainment industry. High-profile actors often attract intense public attention, while threats involving prominent names can generate widespread alarm even before the facts of a case are fully established. For investigators, the central tasks include identifying the alleged shooters and their handlers, tracing the source and movement of the recovered weapons, examining communications and financial links where relevant, and establishing whether the attack was commissioned or coordinated by a wider network. The reported arrests and weapons recovery may help investigators reconstruct the alleged chain of responsibility. Nevertheless, the number of arrests alone does not establish the guilt of every accused, nor does an alleged gang connection conclusively establish the motive. The case also highlights the importance of distinguishing between confirmed investigative developments and claims that remain under examination. Police findings, forensic evidence, witness statements and judicial proceedings will be central to determining what happened and why.
