Bihar Polls: Campaigning for 1st Phase ends this evening; Voting on 6 November

Patna: The campaigning for the First Phase of Assembly Elections in Bihar ends this evening at 5 PM. The 1st Phase voting in 121 Assembly Constituencies in 18 districts will be held on 6 November, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

However, only door-to-door contact and campaigning will be possible.

The Constituencies where the first phase voting will be held in the districts including Saharsa, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj, Siwan, Vaishali, Samastipur, Begusarai, Munger, Patna, Ara, and Buxar, among others.

In all the 121 Constituencies, where the voting is to be held on 6 November, the security has been tightened to avoid any untoward incident.

After the voting in these 121 seats, the fate of 17 Ministers including both the Deputy Chief Ministers - Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha - will be sealed in the EVMs.

The other 15 Ministers who are among those contesting for these 121 seats include Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Shravan Kumar, Mangal Pandey, Madan Sahni, Maheshwar Hazari, Sanjay Sarawagi, Jivesh Kumar, and Ratnesh Sada.

Former MPs and prominent figures like Ramkripal Yadav, Shyam Rajak, Anant Singh, Umesh Kushwaha, and Shreyasi Singh, a shooting-turned-politician, are also working to ensure their victory.
