New Delhi: Following the huge success of his recent web series, The Ba*ds of Bollywood, Aryan Khan has opened up for the first time about his interest in filmmaking and his passion for the art.

Aryan revealed that he developed a passion for filmmaking since childhood, and his father, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, played a major role in this. Aryan recalled how he began to understand the magic behind films, and it was his father who taught him all this.

In an interview, Aryan revealed that his father, Shah Rukh Khan, has a deep understanding of every aspect of filmmaking, be it VFX, lighting, or camera work.

As a child, Shah Rukh Khan taught him that what is shown in films is different from reality. He explained, "My father would show me what actually happens during a shoot, like how to fly a plane without actually flying it.

All of this was like magic to me as a child." These experiences ignited Aryan's passion for filmmaking.

Experiences Making Short Films

Aryan also shared that he began experimenting with VFX and editing at a very young age. He and his team created several short films. Aryan explained that he and his team made approximately 15 to 20 short films, each for a variety of audiences, such as those enrolling in film school or those interested in acting.

Making a Film with Family

Aryan also mentioned making a short film with his family, including his sister Suhana Khan and father Shah Rukh Khan. He explained that during the lockdown, he made a film at home, in which he acted as the DOP (Director of Photography).

This project strengthened collaboration and creativity within his family. Now, after the success of The Ba*ds of Bollywood, Aryan and his family are very happy.
