Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood and TV actor Satish Shah passed away on Saturday, October 25th. 72-year-old Satish Shah had been suffering from kidney-related illness for some time. He died of kidney failure. He breathed his last in Mumbai at around 2:30 pm on Saturday. The actor's last rites were performed on Sunday at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle, Mumbai.

TV actress Rupali Ganguly, who played Satish Shah's onscreen daughter-in-law in a TV show, became extremely emotional during the funeral. She arrived at the actor's home for his last darshan and began crying while sitting in the car. The affection between the two, like a strong family bond, was evident in Rupali's eyes.
Naseeruddin Shah arrived at Satish Shah's funeral with his son, Vivaan Shah. Meanwhile, Dilip Joshi of "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" fame was also present to bid his co-star a final farewell. Many actors were teary-eyed, and the atmosphere was filled with grief.
Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, speaking to the media, said, "Satish was not only a brilliant actor, but also a genuine human being and a wonderful friend. The industry feels incomplete without him."
