New Delhi: Ajay Devgn-starrer Dhamaal 4 hit theatres on Friday and early reactions on social media suggest the comedy entertainer has largely struck the right chord with audiences. While many viewers have described it as a laugh-filled family film, others have criticised its use of AI-generated visuals and logic-defying storyline.
Several users on X described Dhamaal 4 as a "no-brainer entertainer" and advised audiences to enjoy the film without expecting realism.
One viewer wrote that the movie is far more entertaining than its trailer, praising its fast pace and kid-friendly humour. Another called it a "complete entertainer" packed with laughs from beginning to end, saying it successfully revives the charm of the original Dhamaal.
Many social media users also compared Dhamaal 4 with Akshay Kumar's Welcome To The Jungle.

Some claimed Dhamaal 4 is "already better" than the comedy film, saying it delivers more laughs and keeps viewers engaged throughout.
However, not everyone agreed. A few users felt the humour fell flat, with one post arguing that not every actor can make absurd jokes work the way Akshay Kumar does.

Despite the positive response, some viewers criticised the film's visual effects.
A section of users accused the makers of using "cheap-quality AI" for flashback sequences, saying the technology looked unconvincing and affected the viewing experience.

Others also pointed out that the film follows the familiar treasure-hunt formula established by the original Dhamaal, featuring exaggerated comedy and over-the-top situations with little emphasis on logic.
