Produced by Junglee Pictures in collaboration with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, Haq promises to deliver a gripping and emotionally charged drama. Inspired by true events detailed in the book Bano: Bharat Ki Beti by Jigna Vora, the film presents a fictionalised and dramatized retelling of one of India's most debated legal battles from the 1980s.

In the teaser, Yami Gautam is playing the role of an inspiring Muslim woman Shah Bano Begum who refuses to be silenced. She is not afraid to go to the court and wants to be treated equally like the rest of the Indians not just as a Muslim woman.

While Emraan Hashmi is playing the role of a sharp and celebrated lawyer. The whole clip showed both the actors giving incredible performances with powerful dialogue deliveries.
