The Cyber ​​Crime Wing of the Tamil Nadu Police has taken immediate action and launched an investigation into the matter. The case was registered based on a complaint filed by the production company, KVN Productions. The complaint names 21 individuals who are accused of illegally accessing, downloading, and sharing footage from the film.

In his complaint, Production Controller R. Udayakumar has demanded that the police immediately remove the leaked content from all platforms. The filmmakers stated that Jana Nayagan is a big-budget film, involving significant investment and extensive work. Therefore, a pre-release leak could severely impact its earnings and box office performance.

Difficulties Increase After CBFC Controversy

The film has already faced delays due to a dispute with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It was reported that there were objections to the film's portrayal of the defense forces. However, this dispute was later resolved.
