New Delhi: Veteran actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja’s reported marital troubles have taken a new turn. Sunita Ahuja has reportedly withdrawn her divorce petition against the actor, ending months of speculation surrounding their relationship.
The development was confirmed by Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha, who informed media outlets that Sunita has taken back the divorce case.
Sunita Ahuja was recently spotted at a Mumbai court along with her son Yashvardhan Ahuja. She appeared to be in a hurry and avoided interacting with the media before leaving the premises.
While the reason for her court visit was not immediately clear, reports later suggested that she had withdrawn the divorce case filed against Govinda.
The move comes amid months of discussions and rumours about problems in the couple’s marriage.
Reports of differences between Govinda and Sunita Ahuja had been circulating for some time. Sunita had made several comments about their relationship, while Govinda had also responded to some of her statements.
The controversy intensified after Sunita’s remarks about Govinda’s personal life and his alleged dating rumours with his co-star Komal Rani.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja tied the knot in 1987 and have been married for nearly four decades. The couple has two children daughter Tina Ahuja and son Yashvardhan Ahuja.
