Nushrratt Bharuccha Injured in Bali (Img: X)
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has reportedly suffered a serious injury after an accident in Bali, Indonesia. The actress, who had travelled to Bali for holidays and professional commitments, reportedly sustained a spinal fracture and was advised to undergo spine surgery after receiving initial treatment at a local hospital.
Following the medical advice, Nushrratt was brought back to Mumbai by a special air ambulance on Friday night. A video circulating on social media appeared to show the actress being taken out of an ambulance on a stretcher, leaving her fans concerned about her health.
According to the information available, Nushrratt received initial medical care at a hospital in Bali after the accident. Doctors subsequently advised further treatment and spine surgery.
After reaching Mumbai, the actress is expected to undergo further medical evaluation under the supervision of specialist doctors. Her family members and close friends are reportedly with her as she begins the next stage of treatment.
Nushrratt Bharuccha began her career in the entertainment industry with television. She appeared in Zee TV’s ‘Kitty Party’ in 2002 before later featuring in the television show ‘Seven’.
She made her film debut with ‘Jai Santoshi Maa’ in 2006, followed by ‘Kal Kissne Dekha’ in 2009. Her early films did not make a major impact at the box office, but the actress continued to pursue opportunities in the industry.
Nushrratt gained wider recognition with ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ in 2011, where she starred alongside Kartik Aaryan. The success of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ further strengthened her position in Bollywood.
Her career received another major boost with ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ in 2018. The film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office and became one of the major successes of her career.
Nushrratt subsequently appeared in several prominent films, including ‘Dream Girl’ with Ayushmann Khurrana, ‘Chhalaang’ with Rajkummar Rao, and ‘Ram Setu’ and ‘Selfiee’ with Akshay Kumar.
She was most recently seen in the horror film ‘Chhorii 2’. She is also set to appear in an upcoming Netflix project associated with filmmaker Neeraj Pandey and actor Manoj Bajpayee.
