New Delhi: The first full week of August is bringing an exciting lineup of films and web series across major OTT platforms. From Diljit Dosanjh-starrer Main Vaapas Aaunga to the war drama Operation Safed Sagar, streaming platforms are offering a mix of crime thrillers, comedy, romance and reality shows for viewers.
Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+ and JioHotstar are set to release several new titles between August 3 and August 9, giving audiences plenty of options to watch from home.

Tamil crime thriller Uyir will premiere on JioHotstar on August 4. The film stars Roshan Mathew, Baiju Santhosh and Athulya Chandra. The story follows a trainee sub-inspector investigating a case inspired by real incidents from Kerala's Kannur region.
Apple TV+ is bringing back the popular Emmy-winning comedy series Ted Lasso with its fourth season on August 5. The new season follows Ted as he returns to Richmond to coach the club's women's football team, taking on a fresh professional challenge.
Prime Video will release Sterling Point on August 5. Created by Megan Park, the series follows 17-year-old Annie, who unexpectedly inherits a remote Canadian island and discovers hidden secrets connected to her family’s past.
The third season of Netflix's popular teen romance drama My Life with the Walter Boys arrives on August 6. The new episodes continue Jackie’s journey as she navigates emotional challenges and complicated relationships with Cole and Alex.

One of the most anticipated releases of the week, Main Vaapas Aaunga, will begin streaming on Netflix from August 7. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari and Vedang Raina.
Netflix will also premiere Operation Safed Sagar on August 7. Inspired by the Indian Air Force's 1999 Kargil War operations, the series features Jimmy Sheirgill, Siddharth, Mihir Ahuja and Abhay Verma.
