New Delhi: Actor Priyanka Chopra recently visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar where she offered prayers and spent the time at holy site. Known for its spiritual significance and peaceful atmosphere, the temple attracts devotees from all across the world, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Priyanka’s visit drew the attention after several videos and pictures of her at the shrine surfaced online, showing her participating in rituals and interacting warmly with people around her.

Simple Look, Spiritual Visit

In one videos, Priyanka was seen walking towards the temple wearing a peach suit. She covered her head with a dupatta, following the temple’s traditions. Smiling warmly, she greeted people with folded hands and even interacted with staff members and posing for selfies.

Performs Seva, Wins Hearts

What truly touched fans was seeing Priyanka perform “seva“at the temple. In a clip, she was sitting on the floor washing utensils, just like other devotees. Fans praised her humble gesture. Many appreciated how she stayed connected to her roots despite living abroad. Comments like “She didn’t forget her roots” and “A true Indian at heart” flooded the social media.

Enjoying Her Time in Amritsar

Priyanka recently arrived in India and has been sharing glimpses of her trip on her social media. She posted a picture of her meal in Amritsar, featuring kulchas, dal makhani, chole, and other local dishes, calling it “Just Amritsar things.” She also shared the parts of her journey from New Delhi to Amritsar, including scenic views of Punjab’s green fields from her flight.

Priyanka’s Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Priyanka was last seen in “The Bluff” which is currently streaming on Prime Video. She will next appear in filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli’s upcoming film “Varanasi”, alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is set to release on April 7, 2027. Fans will also see her in Season 2 of the web series “Citadel”.

This visit not only showed Priyanka’s spiritual side but also reminded fans of her deep connection to Indian culture and traditions.
