Mumbai: A big entertainment news has come out for Salman Khan's fans. The superstar actor started shooting for his next film 'Battle of Galwan'. The film has been start shooting in Ladakh. The film is based on the conflict between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley in the year 2020.

According to sources, the shooting of this film supposed to start in Mumbai earlier, but due to some reason it was postponed. Now some major action sequences will be shot in Ladakh from 22 August to 3 September.

Film Based On Historic Event

'Battle of Galwan' is being made with the aim of paying tribute to the spirit and sacrifice of the Indian Army. Film 'Battle of Galwan' is based on the historic event of 15 June 2020, when Indian soldiers displayed their courage and bravery in the Galwan Valley.

Colonel B. Santosh Babu

In this film, Salman Khan is playing the role of Colonel B. Santosh Babu, who was martyred in that conflict. The film is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, who made a successful film like 'Shootout at Lokhandwala'.
