New Delhi: Netflix has unveiled the much-awaited trailer of Lust Stories 3, bringing back the popular anthology franchise with four fresh stories exploring love, marriage, intimacy and human desires. The trailer introduces a mix of emotions, humour, complicated relationships and unexpected situations, with Aditi Rao Hydari’s powerful dialogue becoming the biggest talking point.
Directed by four acclaimed filmmakers Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj, the third installment features an ensemble cast including Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, Radhika Madan, Ali Fazal, Abhishek Banerjee and Vijay Varma.
The highlight of the trailer is Aditi Rao Hydari’s character discussing female desire and emotions. In a striking scene, she compares women to candles, saying that they cannot be treated like objects that can simply be switched on or off.
Her statement about women’s desires and emotions has caught viewers’ attention, adding curiosity around her character’s storyline. The trailer hints at a relationship filled with attraction, emotions and complexities between Aditi and Siddharth’s characters.
Another segment focuses on Radhika Madan and Ali Fazal, who appear as a married couple dealing with differences and unmet expectations. Their conversations highlight the challenges, compromises and frustrations that often exist in relationships.
The trailer suggests that their story will blend humour with emotional conflicts while exploring the realities of modern marriages.
Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Apte, Abhishek Banerjee and Vijay Varma appear in another storyline filled with misunderstandings and comedy. Their chemistry hints at a narrative where humour meets complicated emotions.
The trailer also introduces Gurfateh Pirzada and Sana Thampi’s characters, adding another layer to the anthology’s exploration of love and communication.
With four different filmmakers at the helm, Lust Stories 3 promises varied storytelling styles.
