Kumkum Bhagya has had 4 major changes in 11 years. It began with Shruti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia. Later, there was a big surprise and Krishna Kaul and Mugdha Chapekar were cast as the main characters. After Krushna and Mugdha, Abrar Qazi and Rachi Sharma joined the show. Kumkum Bhagya will be replaced by a new show called Ganga Mai Ki Betiyaan. The show is produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta through their company Dreamiyata Entertainment, and it features Amandeep Sidhu, Sheejaan Khan, and Shubhangi Latkar in the main roles.
The show is still waiting to be scheduled into its time slot. A person linked to ZeeTV reports that they are adjusting their programming. Their goal is to show the audience high-quality content.
The schedules of other shows such as 'Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile', 'Vasudha', and 'Jagriti Ek Nayi Subah' have also been adjusted. Besides this, a new reality show called 'Chhoriyan Chali Gaon' has also started.
