New Delhi: Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s possible visit to India later this year has brought fresh attention to the future of India-Bangladesh relations, with the focus shifting towards regional diplomacy and platforms like BRICS.
According to reports, Rahman may travel to New Delhi in November or early December for high-level discussions. The possible visit comes after his absence from the BRICS Summit hosted by India, a development that had drawn attention among diplomatic circles.
The proposed meeting could provide an opportunity for both neighbouring countries to discuss areas of mutual interest, including trade, connectivity, energy cooperation and regional security.
