New Delhi:  The two gunmen identified as Sajid Akram 50 years and his son Naveed 24 years opened fire at Jewish people attending Hanukkah, also called the festival of lights at Sydney’s Bondi Beach. The death toll from the attack has risen to 15, while 27 were wounded and are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Terror Incident Confirmed by Authorities

Australian government has declared it as a terrorist incident, targeted at Jewish Australians. One of the gunmen Sajid Akram was killed by the police while Naveed was injured and is undergoing treatment. He is likely to be tried under criminal charges.
