New Delhi: Bihar Governor Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd.) and Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita will attend the state funeral ceremony of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, according to Iranian sources.
The reports state that the two dignitaries will represent the Government of India at the official funeral ceremony in Iran.
While Indian authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the delegation, Iranian sources indicated that the Governor of Bihar and the Minister of State for External Affairs are expected to participate in the state-level funeral on behalf of New Delhi.
