Internet Back Online, But War Tensions Rise Again (Img: Internet)
New Delhi: Iran has started to turn the internet back on after one of the longest times the whole country did not have internet in recent history. This happened because of a lot of fighting in West Asia. Now people in some areas can use the internet at home. It is still hard for many people to get online on their phones.
The internet was turned off in January when a lot of people were protesting. It got even worse after some military action in late February. This made it very hard for people to talk to each other and for businesses to work. It was estimated that the country was losing $30 to $40 million every day. A lot of people those who live in other countries had a hard time staying in touch with their families.
Iran and the United States are not getting along now. This is because of some airstrikes and claims that there was a ceasefire. Iran says the United States did something and is not being honest. Iran says the airstrikes happened while they were trying to make a deal to stop fighting.. The United States says they were just defending themselves and being careful.
Irans government says the United States will have to deal with the consequences of what they did. They also say they will do something if the United States does anything aggressive. Irans military says they shot down a drone and made another drone and a plane leave their airspace. They did not say when this happened.
Iran also executed a man named Gholamreza Khani Shakarab because they said he was a spy for Israel. The court said he was in charge of a group of spies. Some people are worried that the trial was not fair.
There is also a lot of talk about the Strait of Hormuz which's a very important place for oil ships to pass through. Iran has made it hard for ships to go through this area, which has caused problems for the world. Not many ships are going through as they used to, which is making people worried about food and oil.
People from Iran and the United States are still talking,. It is not clear what will happen next. The United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio says it might take a days to figure out if they can make a deal to stop fighting. There was also an explosion on a ship, in the Gulf of Oman which is making everything even more uncertain.
