Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian Lists Terms to Stop Conflict with US and Israel
Tehran: Amidst the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, the conflict between Iran and the United States has been going on for 13 days, but the situation still shows no signs of normalization. Iran continues to attack, and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz has disrupted the global oil market. Oil prices are rising rapidly, impacting global economies. Meanwhile, Russia and Pakistan are engaged in efforts to persuade Iran and end the conflict.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has put forward three key conditions for ending the war. He stated that only if these conditions are accepted can the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel end.
The first condition is that Tehran's legitimate rights be internationally recognized. The second condition is that reparations be paid to compensate for the damage caused by the war. The third and most important condition is that strong international guarantees be provided to prevent any future attacks on Iran.
President Pezeshkian issued a statement on the social media platform X, stating that the conflict was instigated not by Iran but by the "Zionist regime and the United States." He wrote that the only way to end this war is to recognize Iran's rights, compensate for its losses, and ensure solid international protection against any future aggression.
He also stated that he clearly stated these conditions during a telephone conversation with the leaders of Russia and Pakistan.

Iran's stance indicates that some countries in the region are making diplomatic efforts to prevent war. Russia and Pakistan, both of which maintain good relations with Iran, are trying to play a mediating role to defuse the escalating tensions.
These countries believe that a negotiated solution can prevent the spread of conflict in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump recently claimed that the US has won this war. Meanwhile, Iran's attacks in the Persian Gulf region appear to be intensifying, further complicating the situation.
Experts say that if a diplomatic solution is not found soon, this conflict could further destabilize the entire Middle East and have a significant impact on the global energy market.
