New Delhi: The past day was like a nightmare for comedy king Kapil Sharma. An unknown attacker fired nine consecutive rounds at his recently launched 'Kap's Cafe' in a Canadian city in the early hours of Thursday. The incident was carried out from a car parked outside the cafe, causing chaos at the spot. Although no one has been confirmed injured in this attack, there is an atmosphere of tremendous fear and tension among the staff of the cafe and the people around.
The cafe team shared an emotional post on Instagram after this horrific attack, in which they put their fear, pain and courage into words. The post read, "We opened Kap's Cafe with hopes of bringing warmth, community, and joy through delicious coffee and friendly conversation. To have violence intersect with that dream is heartbreaking. We are processing this shock, but we are not giving up.

After this attack, a tremendous response is being seen on social media in support of Kapil Sharma and his cafe. Along with the fans, the Indian community living in Canada has also expressed sympathy and support for the cafe.

According to media reports, the police have started investigating the matter and the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the spot is being scanned. In the initial investigation, Khalistani terrorist organizations are suspected to be behind this firing. However, no official confirmation has been made about this yet.
Raising voice against violence, the cafe team further wrote in its message that now is the time for all of us to unite against such hatred and violence.
