Shamsu Bibi murder case (Img Google Generated)
New Delhi: A popular Pakistani TikTok influencer, Shamsu Bibi, also known as Ayesha Gilamana, was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle-borne attackers in Taxila. The 28-year-old social media star, who had more than 1.3 million followers on TikTok, was killed in a suspected targeted attack.
According to the police complaint, the incident took place on August 14, 2026. Shamsu Bibi’s father, Fazal Sahibzada, stated that a man identified as Kashish alias Kashi called his daughter and asked her to come outside the house.
After receiving the call, Bibi left in a car along with her 15-year-old sister Asima and brother Naimatullah. According to Naimatullah’s statement, when they reached near a petrol pump, two unidentified men riding a motorcycle opened fire on their vehicle.
The attackers’ bullets hit Shamsu Bibi in the neck, killing her on the spot. The firing caused the car to lose control and crash into another vehicle, leaving her younger sister Asima seriously injured.
Shamsu Bibi had been creating TikTok videos for nearly three to four years. Following her death, her family deactivated her social media account. Her brother Rahmatullah said the account had received around 30–35 million likes and had crossed one million followers.
The family has alleged that the murder may be linked to a financial dispute. According to her father, Bibi had monetary dealings with individuals named Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen and had been demanding the return of money owed to her. The family claimed she had received threats over the issue and had also filed a complaint in Islamabad.
Fazal Sahibzada alleged that the killing was either carried out by these individuals or by attackers acting on their instructions to take control of her money. The role of Kashish alias Kashi is also being investigated in connection with the case.
Police have started an investigation to identify the attackers and determine the exact motive behind the murder.
