New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday had a call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The two leaders talked about the progress of the India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership and also shared views on the developments in West Asia, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said.
“Ít had a review of the development of the India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership and also shared ideas on the developments in West Asia,” the PMO said in a statement that the leaders had shared.
During the conversation, PM Modi and Netanyahu discussed the sustained progress in the India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership and also reaffirmed their commitment towards a higher level of bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit to both countries in various areas like defence, agriculture, technology, innovation, water and trade.
In the conversation, the leaders also shared salient ideas on the changes in the region and talked about the situation in West Asia, the PMO said.
Around the same time as the conversation, the security and diplomatic scenarios in West Asia have been under close observation of the international community.
The statement added that during the call, the two prime ministers talked about the developments in the region and said that PM Modi and Netanyahu promised to stay in contact.
The fact that the two leaders talked in their conversation about West Asia shows how the relationship between the two countries is growing as they closely collaborate on their partnership and keep a close watch on West Asia.
