According to the information, all these Palestinians were going towards the food distribution centers run by an organization named Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
The attack came at a time when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was negotiating with US President Donald Trump at the White House on a ceasefire plan to stop the Gaza conflict.
The ministry also claimed that economic sanctions will be imposed against several organizations and figures but did not specify.
